Hello! I’m Melanie, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with 35 years of nursing experience. I provide care to clients across Washington, DC, specializing in depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. My master of science in nursing specializing in psychiatry was completed at Wilkes University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care.

Trained as a psych NP, I’m a generalist with experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions.

I focus on meeting clients where they are and approaching care in a non-judgmental manner.  I practice shared and informed decision making and ensuring patients feel listened to too.
