Hello, nice to meet you! I’m Joanne, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 8 years of nursing experience. I provide care to clients across New York, specializing in burnout, anxiety, bipolar, and chronic illness. My master’s in nursing and psychiatric specialization was completed at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care.
As a psych NP, I treat a broad spectrum of mental health conditions in addition to my specializations.
I am a compassionate and dedicated provider with experience in treating a wide range of mental health disorders. My practice is a blend of Rogerian fundamentals with that of Yalom’s existential therapy. With this I strive to be deeply attuned to my clients’ individual mental health needs while utilizing a person-centered approach to treatment.
