Hello, nice to meet you! I’m Malena, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 7 years of nursing experience. I provide care to clients across New York, specializing in anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and depression. My master’s in nursing and psychiatric specialization was completed at CUNY Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care.
As a psych NP, I treat a broad spectrum of mental health conditions in addition to my specializations.
My approach is always to lead with empathy and channel care that is patient-centered using the best evidence-based methods, which results in patient efficacy and satisfaction. I love CBT, focused in motivational interviewing where the patient is motivated to lead the changes of their care and lives.
