I’ve taken the ADHD Care Pledge to support safe and thoughtful stimulant use
Hi, I’m Abbe, a double board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner with 8 years of nursing experience. I provide care to clients across New York, specializing in transition to motherhood, maternal mental health, pre- and postpartum depression, ADHD, and anxiety. My doctoral degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatry was completed at the University of Buffalo, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care.
As a psych NP, I’m a generalist with experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions.
I think it is important to meet patients where they are at. Some are interested in counseling, some are interested in medication, some are interested in both. Others aren’t quite sure how to approach what they’re dealing with so I like to educate about what options are available and may be most useful to their specific needs. I have a conservative approach to medication and always aim to have patients on the least amount of medication at the lowest dose that will be therapeutic for them.

“She was very engaged and asked a lot of questions. As someone who is very intuitive and wants a lot of insight into myself, this was a good sign knowing she will ask the right questions.”
