Angelica (she/her/hers) is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving our Illinois clients. Angelica has 20+ years of nursing experience and completed her post-master’s psychiatric training at University of Maryland.

Trained as a Psych NP, Angelica is a generalist with experience in treating a wide range of conditions.

“While serving as a Navy Nurse, I witnessed firsthand the invisible wounds carried by many Service Members returning from combat. I saw the emotional toll deployment had on them—the anxiety, depression, and PTSD that too often went untreated due to stigma or lack of access to care. Watching people suffer in silence, especially those who had already sacrificed so much, stirred something in me. I knew I wanted to do more than just recognize their pain—I wanted to be part of their healing, that’s why I became a Psych NP.”
