I’ve taken the ADHD Care Pledge to support safe and thoughtful stimulant use
Hey! I’m Cynthia, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with 45 years of experience in nursing. I provide care to clients across New York, specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD, LGBTQIA+, gender, and sexuality topics. My master of science in nursing specializing in psychiatry from Boston University provided my strong basis in evidence-based mental health care.
As a psych NP, my background includes treating a wide spectrum of mental health concerns, which supports a comprehensive and individualized approach to care.
As a Psych NP, I take a whole-person approach to psychiatric care, recognizing the interplay between physical, emotional, and mental health. As each clients’ unique background informs our treatment plan, I make sure to prioritize open communication to help them feel safe in expressing themselves, which could help them move toward greater balance and confidence.
