Muslimah (Mooky) Harris

Hello, nice to meet you! I’m Mooky, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with seven years of nursing experience. I provide care to clients across Iowa, specializing in ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia and other sleep issues, bipolar disorder, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and trauma, stress management, anger management and impulse control, burnout, life coaching, family issues, college and graduate student mental health, and relationship issues. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in psychiatry, from Walden University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care.

Trained as a psych NP, I am a generalist with experience in treating a wide range of conditions.

My approach is patient centered care. I listen to my patients needs as a whole and from there we collaborate on a treatment plan that feels comfortable for them and meets their individual needs.
