Hey! I’m Sheila, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with 8 years of nursing experience. I provide care to clients across Texas, specializing in anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and life coaching. My strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care was established through my post-graduate psychiatric specialization at Walden University.
Trained as a psych NP, I’m a generalist with experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions.
My approach is warm, culturally sensitive, and grounded in patient-centered care. I believe in the power of therapeutic communication and the importance of cultural competence, recognizing that each patient is unique, even when some may share similar experiences. Developing a partnership with my patients is key to ensuring collaboration and support throughout their journey. This approach promotes recovery and helps maintain long-term mental health stability.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Ms. Sheila was absolutely awesome and deserves 10 stars! She was very knowledgeable in her approach to care and thorough with the questions she asked me. She made this intimidating and vulnerable moment such a pleasant experience where I felt seen, heard, valued, and understood. I left the session feeling I could face whatever challenge was coming my way, and I definitely look forward to the next one."

"Sheila was AMAZING! It felt more like talking to a good friend than a doctor. She really put me at ease (which isn't easy with anxiety lol) and made the process so comfortable."

"I really enjoyed talking to Ms.Pryor. She was very thorough and spent more time with me than was allowed, which was very nice of her. I also like that she discussed and explained different types of medicine with me, as I have never really taken any of these types of drugs. Ms.Pryor was very committed to making sure I was safe regarding the drugs. I feel like I could call her when distressed and she would be able to help, and that is pretty valuable."
