I’ve taken the ADHD Care Pledge to support safe and thoughtful stimulant use

Hello, nice to meet you! I’m Jeffrey, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 11 years of nursing experience. I provide care to clients across New York, specializing in ADHD, anxiety, bipolar, and depression. My master’s in nursing and psychiatric specialization from Stony Brook University provided my strong basis in evidence-based mental health care.

As a psych NP, my background includes treating a wide spectrum of mental health concerns, which supports a comprehensive and individualized approach to care.

I like to allow the client to describe their experiences in their own words and perspectives to get an understanding of how they feel and why they may be going through a tough time. It helps me understand them a little better. I also like to ask about their social life and history to understand their daily lives.

We’re likely a good match if you…

  • like when you don’t have to filter yourself
  • want support keeping up with tasks
  • are trying to feel more comfortable in social situations
  • are slowly working toward brighter days
  • hope to understand your emotions without feeling swept away

Reviews

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Jeffrey listened to me and made me feel really understood. I ended up being prescribed medication and I felt incredibly at ease because he explained how the drug works to a receptor level, side effects, how long it would take to have an effect, and why it was the best drug for me compared to similar ones and answered all my questions. He was so knowledgeable clinically and great emotionally as well."

“Mr. Panko, was very kind and easy to talk to. Mr. Panko took his time to explain the therapy process and really took the time to hear my concerns. Mr. Panko's approach during our initial session made me feel very comfortable and open to therapy, an idea in which I have been ambivalent about for quite some time. I am looking forward to my next session with them, and am eager to learn how therapy can help me."
