I’ve taken the ADHD Care Pledge to support safe and thoughtful stimulant use

Hi, nice to meet you! I’m Sydney, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with 3 years of nursing experience. I provide care to clients across New York, specializing in anxiety, depression, bipolar, and college & graduate student mental health. My doctor of nursing practice in psychiatry were completed at Columbia University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care.

As a psych NP, I treat a broad spectrum of mental health conditions in addition to my specializations.

I have the most experience with CBT and DBT, but I find that client-centered therapy is the foundation for all of my therapeutic interactions. I believe that my clients are the experts of their experience; my role is to assess, validate, educate, and empower them to make treatment decisions that align with their personal values. My clients are so much more than their symptoms and diagnoses; they are whole people with relationships, careers, and hobbies. As such, my goal with any client interaction is to not only manage and alleviate symptoms, but to incrementally assist in holistic growth, achievement, and self-actualization.

We’re likely a good match if you…

  • feel at ease around people who go at your pace
  • are trying to break old patterns that drain you
  • want to feel more present and less tense
  • want to build habits that actually work for you
  • are learning how to listen to yourself again
