Anna Marks

Hello, nice to meet you! I’m Anna, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with 13 years of nursing experience. I provide care to clients across Pennsylvania, specializing in bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, relationship issues. My master of science in nursing specializing in psychiatry were completed at University of Pennsylvania, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care.

As a psych NP, my background includes treating a wide spectrum of mental health concerns, which supports a comprehensive and individualized approach to care.

My approach to treatment is active listening with a mixture of psycho/pharmacological education and positive feedback to motivate clients to identify and reach their goals of treatment and generally in life, and to take an active role in this journey. I have a conversational style of interviewing with open ended questions and prefer to learn about my clients as a whole through a biopsychosocial approach to come to a diagnosis and treatment plan we both feel comfortable with.
