I’ve taken the ADHD Care Pledge to support safe and thoughtful stimulant use
Hello, nice to meet you! I’m Carol, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with 21 years of nursing experience. I provide care to clients across Massachusetts, specializing in ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, chronic illness, and depression. My strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care was established through my master’s degree and psychiatric training at the University of South Alabama.
Trained as a psych NP, I’m a generalist with experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, which supports a comprehensive and individualized approach to care.
I use my down-to-earth personality, warmth, interest in the strengths and struggles of the patient, and my sense of humor to connect with patients and explore their goals for treatment. Each individual determines the treatment decisions that are best for them, and I see myself as a consultant with some expertise in counseling and medications to help guide them toward living their best life. My motto is, “We laugh to survive”, and I use my sense of humor to help myself and others keep life struggles in perspective and to seek the joy in life.
