Obinna (he/him/his) is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving our New Jersey clients. Obinna has over five years of nursing experience and completed his psychiatric training at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Trained as a Psych NP, Obinna is a generalist with experience in treating a wide range of conditions.

“As a Nigerian American, I chose to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner because I am deeply committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in my culture and among minority communities. Growing up, I witnessed first hand how mental health issues were often dismissed or stigmatized, which led to many individuals suffering in silence. This experience fueled my passion to make a difference in the way mental health is perceived and treated within our communities. By pursuing this career, I aim to provide culturally sensitive care that not only addresses mental health challenges but also fosters open conversations and education about mental wellness.”
